The soum has strengthened by 8% against the dollar
In Uzbekistan, a decline in the exchange rate of the dollar has been observed in recent days. On October 29, the dollar rate fell below 12,000 soums for the first time since the beginning of 2023.

According to reports, since the start of the year the soum has strengthened by 7.6% against the dollar. This is being recorded as the best result in recent years.

In particular, while in 2024 the soum depreciated by 3.4% against the dollar, in 2023 this figure had reached 8% in favor of the dollar.
