A significant decline in the US dollar exchange rate is being observed in Uzbekistan's currency market, according to a banker's Telegram channel. According to forecasts, the dollar exchange rate on April 22, 2026, is expected to weaken by around 37-38 Uzbek soum.
Currently, the highest and most favorable rates for selling dollars to banks are offered by MKbank, Infinbank, and Universalbank (12,070 Uzbek soum). Additionally, the currency selling rate at Garantbank has been set at 12,065 Uzbek soum.
The lowest rates for those looking to buy dollars were recorded at Octobank (12,100 Uzbek soum), Halk Bank, and OFB (12,110 Uzbek soum). At Hayotbank, the buying rate stands at 12,120 Uzbek soum. It is recommended to recheck banks' internal rates before carrying out currency exchange operations.
