A Story About a Son

Temur was a young boy whose parents were constantly busy with work. His father was a businessman, his mother a doctor. They rarely spent time at home, leaving Temur feeling lonely and longing for their attention.

Every day after school, Temur would sit alone, looking out the window, waiting anxiously for his parents to return.

One day it was his birthday. At school, he proudly told his friends, “My parents will give me an expensive gift!” But when he got home, despite waiting until midnight in the beautifully decorated room, they didn’t arrive. Heartbroken, Temur fell asleep in tears.

The next morning, Temur woke to find a small note and a book beside him. The note read:
“My dear son, we have always loved you but failed to show it before. This book is more valuable than any expensive gift. We'll read it together, and from now on we'll always be with you!”

With tears in his eyes, Temur looked up and saw his parents standing at the door, smiling warmly at him.
