Three unusual signs of heart disease have been identified
Cardiovascular disease remains one of the leading causes of premature death worldwide. More than 18 million people die from these diseases every year. According to experts, heart disease is becoming more common in people of younger ages.

Unfortunately, many people do not pay attention to the important signals that appear in their bodies or realize it too late. In fact, heart problems can occur not only in the form of chest pain or shortness of breath, but also in unexpected situations and in other parts of the body. Scientists from the American Academy of Dermatology have identified three unusual signs that can be an early warning sign of heart disease.

Hard and painful nodes on the fingers (Osler's nodes)

This symptom, called Osler's nodes, can appear on the toes or fingers. They are small, hard, and painful, and they last from a few hours to a few days, and sometimes go away on their own. However, the appearance of this symptom indicates a serious infectious problem in the body. According to scientists, this condition is often associated with inflammation of the inner lining of the heart - infective endocarditis. In such a situation, of course, treatment with antibiotics is required. If left untreated, the condition can become complicated and even require surgery.

Swollen feet

Another serious sign of heart disease is swollen feet. Experts from the American Academy of Dermatology note that this condition is caused by the accumulation of blood and other fluids in the body as a result of improper functioning of the heart. Swelling caused by problems with the cardiovascular system is mainly observed in the feet, ankles, and other parts of the legs. Regular observation of such swelling is a warning sign of the seriousness of the situation and requires immediate medical attention.

Bluish fingers (cyanosis)

Sometimes, blue fingers can simply be associated with cold weather, which is a natural phenomenon. However, if the fingers turn blue or purple even in conditions where there is no cold, this is a very serious signal. This symptom indicates a lack of oxygen in the blood. Scientists call this condition “cyanosis” in medicine, and this symptom indicates serious problems in the circulatory system. If cyanosis is not treated in time, it can lead to the death of the tissues under the skin.

According to experts, if a person notices such unusual signs in his body, he should not ignore it and consult a doctor. Because diseases diagnosed in time have a higher chance of being cured.

Therefore, if you experience one or more of the three above symptoms, you should immediately see a doctor. Being attentive and careful in your health is the most important key to getting help in time. Take care of your heart, follow a healthy lifestyle!
