A 17-year observation by researchers at the University of Virginia revealed one of the unexpected causes of the aging process. According to an article published in the Journal of Health Psychology, aggressive behavior in adolescence - especially hostile towards friends and constant conflicts with fathers - can accelerate the process of biological aging.

The study was conducted among 123 participants. Psychologists have been tracking their relationships with their parents and peers since 1998. Simultaneously, biomarkers such as cholesterol levels, blood pressure, glucose levels, signs of inflammation, and blood tests were also recorded.

Scientists note that by the age of 30, the signs of biological aging significantly accelerated in adolescents who were aggressive towards their friends at the age of 13, had difficult, contentious relationships with their fathers. Especially at the end of adolescence, constant conflicts with the father and aggression towards friends around the age of 20 were the main influencing factors.

Experts say that this condition was observed to the same extent in both boys and girls. According to them, a person's attitude towards others becomes a powerful biological indicator, showing not only their emotional state, but also how quickly the body deteriorates.

Scientists note that such results once again confirm the deeper connection between human psychological and physical health.

Earlier, Elon Musk stated that the technology of transferring human consciousness to robots could be implemented in the next 20 years, calling it a step towards "digital eternity."
