
In Tashkent, a man who had been avoiding child support payments was found hiding behind the exterior wall of his home, Nova24.uz reported.
According to a May 5, 2023 ruling by the Mirzo-Ulugbek District Civil Court, the man was ordered to pay half of his income as child support. An enforcement order was issued to the Yashnobod District BPI on July 8, 2023.
Since April 2024, he had been on the wanted list. Law enforcement officers discovered him during an operation, hiding within a wall of his own house.
An administrative protocol was filed against him under Article 47-1 (failure to report children left without parental care to guardianship authorities), and the case was referred to court. He was sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest. Afterwards, his relatives paid off his child support debt totaling 54,562,000 UZS (approx. $4,300). Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
