Navoi CNG station caught stealing gas from the state
In Navoi region, a gas filling station was caught illegally siphoning natural gas from the state, causing damage estimated at 26 billion 27 million UZS, according to the press service of "Uzenergoinspection".

The incident occurred in the Navbahor district. During a joint investigation by "Uzenergoinspection" and the regional prosecutor's office, it was found that a local CNG station had installed a device that interfered with the gas meter readings.

The device was placed on the inlet and outlet pipes of the gas flow measurement system, leading to distorted consumption data.
Preliminary estimates suggest that the perpetrators managed to steal natural gas worth 26 billion 27 million UZS.
An official investigation is currently underway to determine those responsible.
