Uzbekistan to change overtime pay system
Uzbekistan will simplify the payment for overtime work and introduce a new system for its duration, NOVA24 reported, citing the press service of the Legislative Chamber.

According to the information, the new bill proposes to abolish the 120-hour annual limit on overtime work. It also states that overtime must be paid at no less than 1.5 times the standard rate for the first two hours per day, and no less than double pay for any time beyond two hours.

The adoption of this bill aims to ensure labor rights, increase productivity in organizations, and raise workers’ income.
