Otabek Bozorov Appointed Deputy Governor of Namangan

Namangan region has undergone leadership changes, reports UPL.uz.
Otabek Hasanboevich Bozorov has been appointed deputy governor in charge of youth policy, social development, and spiritual-educational affairs.

The appointment was officially announced on May 27, 2025, at a meeting held in the regional administration building, where Bozorov was introduced to local residents and officials.

Prior to this role, Bozorov served as head of the Department for the Development of Science and Innovation under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan.

His experience in science and innovation is expected to play a key role in the implementation of new social and youth initiatives in the region.

The appointment has drawn attention among residents, as youth policy and spiritual development remain important issues in Namangan.

Officials stated that Bozorov will hold a series of public meetings in the coming weeks to discuss current challenges and gather proposals.
