3 Uzbek women deported from Turkey for prostitution
On May 24, Turkish authorities conducted raids in Igdir targeting human trafficking, prostitution, and drug crimes, Nova24.uz reported via Haberler. A total of 107 foreign women were detained — including three from Uzbekistan.

Others included 25 from Azerbaijan, 78 from Iran, and one from Kyrgyzstan. All were deported.

The women worked in entertainment venues in Igdir and were reportedly forced into prostitution. They were living in Turkey using fake documents.

Eleven people were arrested on charges of prostitution, bribery, and human trafficking. Two were later released; the rest remain in custody by court order.
