A call from Shavkat Mirziyoyev: humanity must restore peace and justice!
Speaking at the Tashkent International Investment Forum, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed his deep thoughts on the serious changes and alarming processes in the world political and economic landscape, calling on the international community to restore peace, justice and harmony.

At the beginning of his speech, the head of state noted that the global arms race has intensified again, and that the military spending of major countries has increased by one and a half times over the past decade, reaching $2.5 trillion. At the same time, due to the economic crisis and lack of financial resources, the growth rate of world GDP has been declining for three consecutive years.

"Unfortunately, international legal norms and diplomatic means are losing their influence. The most pressing issues for humanity, such as food security, poverty reduction and climate change, are being overshadowed," Mirziyoyev said.

The President emphasized support for peace initiatives and said that the difficult situation in Ukraine should be resolved only through diplomatic means. He expressed his support for direct negotiations in Istanbul.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev also referred to the long-standing tragedy in Gaza, noting that this tragedy is a sad manifestation of disregard for human dignity in the 21st century. According to him, a just solution to this problem is to realize the right of the Palestinian people to establish their own independent state.

During his speech at the forum, the President also touched upon another important international issue - the fate of Afghanistan. In his opinion, the peaceful and stable development of this country is of crucial importance for the security and economic development of the entire Central Asian region. Therefore, it is very important to continue constructive dialogue with the Afghan government and not to exclude it from the international arena.

At the end of his speech, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said that one of the major goals facing Uzbekistan is to increase the country's GDP to $200 billion by 2030. According to him, the country has all the potential and political will to achieve this goal.

This speech at the forum once again demonstrated Uzbekistan's principled position aimed not only at economic cooperation, but also at protecting global peace, stability, and human dignity.
