Poor-quality gasoline exposed in Tashkent - car owners are at risk
In the city of Tashkent, it was revealed that a fuel station had been selling low-quality gasoline. This situation caused serious concern not only for the citizen whose car broke down but also for the general public. The Committee for Consumer Rights Protection took prompt action in response to the incident and applied strict measures against those responsible.

According to reports, the incident occurred at a gas station owned by "Green Diesel" LLC. A citizen who filled his vehicle with AI-92 gasoline experienced technical problems and officially appealed to the Consumer Rights Protection Committee. According to him, the vehicle broke down due to the fuel and required repairs.

Upon receiving the complaint, the Committee, together with specialists from “Uzenergoinspeksiya”, formed a special working group to investigate the matter. A fuel sample was analyzed in a laboratory, and it was found that the quality did not meet the state standards established by law.

The test results indicated not just deficiencies, but a threat to consumer health and property. Therefore, the Committee took urgent measures. The affected citizen was compensated for the material damage, and the gas station that sold the gasoline was fined a large sum.

In addition, “Uzenergoinspeksiya” also documented other violations in the operation of this station. The incident received wide coverage in the media, drawing public attention to quality control and consumer protection issues.

It is worth noting that this is not the first such case. A similar incident recently occurred in Andijan region, where a gas station was fined for selling low-quality fuel and was ordered to correct all technical and legal violations.

Currently, ensuring the quality of gasoline across the republic, establishing a fair competitive market, and fully protecting citizens’ rights are top priorities. Relevant organizations are working to strengthen efforts in these areas and make the sector more transparent.

In this regard, experts advise motorists to be cautious when choosing gasoline and to avoid unknown or unverified fuel stations. If any suspicious activity is noticed, it is important to contact the relevant authorities immediately.

This incident plays an important role in raising legal awareness among citizens. Poor-quality products can cause not only financial damage but also pose risks to life. This incident once again proves that state agencies must respond strictly to such cases.

Currently, the activities of the “Green Diesel” gas station are under full investigation. It is expected that more legal measures will be taken against the company. The Committee and relevant supervisory bodies have started developing new regulations and standards to prevent such incidents.

Citizens should not remain silent in such situations — they must stand up for their rights and report to the responsible authorities. Only through public awareness and active engagement can such violations be curbed.

Today, not only citizens but society as a whole must remain vigilant and responsible. Ensuring compliance with standards, especially in vital sectors such as fuel, guarantees safety for everyone.

The goal is one: citizens’ rights and safety must always come first.
