Today, July 31, a fire broke out in an apartment building in the Sergeli district of Tashkent. The Tashkent City Emergency Situations Department was notified of the incident at 12:58. This was reported by the FVB press service.
According to information, the fire broke out in the attic of an apartment building located on Navruz Street in the Sergeli district. Fire and rescue teams were immediately involved in the incident.
Fire and rescue units arrived at the specified address at 13:17 and managed to contain the fire at 13:38. The general fire was completely extinguished at 13:59.
According to the information from the Emergency Situations Department, no one was injured as a result of the fire. There were also no cases requiring evacuation or emergency medical care.
The causes of the fire and the amount of material damage caused are currently being investigated. The relevant organizations are conducting an investigation.
Although the incident caused some panic among the local population, the fire did not spread to a large area due to the rapid action of the fire and rescue service.
Although such cases are rare in Sergeli district, this situation once again warns residents of the need to comply with fire safety rules.
The Tashkent City Fire Department is asking residents to take a serious approach to various factors that can cause fires - such as leaving electrical equipment unattended, storing various types of garbage or raw materials in attics.
