In Khorezm region, a person who used various cunning methods to hide the truth and took advantage of his official position for personal gain has been detained. According to reports, this person, who worked as a chief specialist at the state unitary enterprise “Tax Service” in Gurlan district, was engaged in preparing fake documents showing employment history and salaries for citizens who did not work anywhere.
According to information received by the investigative authorities, he, using his acquaintances and connections in the tax authorities, offered two local residents to issue a certificate that had no legal basis. Within the framework of this “service,” data was prepared for the period from January to June 2025, as if they had officially worked and received salaries.
During an operational event carried out by the Khorezm Regional Directorate of the State Security Service in cooperation with the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, the perpetrator was caught while receiving a bribe of 12 million 500 thousand soms. This process was officially recorded as evidence of his actions.
Researchers note that such cases are not only a violation of the law but also seriously undermine trust in the system. Employment history is a key factor for pensions, social guarantees, and the future financial security of every citizen. Introducing false records into it causes harm not only for personal gain but also to state interests.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against the perpetrator, and investigative actions are underway. The outcome of the investigation will determine what legal responsibility will be assigned.
