Judge sent to ethics committee for attending wedding

Claims about a Tashkent region judge hosting a lavish wedding were not confirmed.

According to the Judicial Council’s press office, the event in question took place not at the judge’s home, but at a relative’s.

Also, the child shown in the video was not the judge’s, and it was clarified that his youngest child is already 22 years old.

The investigation confirmed that the judge attended the event during off-duty hours and had no official role.

Therefore, the matter was forwarded to the Judicial Ethics Commission to determine whether his actions violated ethical norms.

The final decision will be issued by the commission itself.
