On Tuesday, a very serious road traffic accident occurred in the city of Denov, Surkhandarya region. Social media reports stated that 3 people had died as a result of the incident; however, the regional road safety administration clarified the exact circumstances of the event.
According to the data, on August 27, 2025, at 10:05, a tragedy occurred at the 24th kilometer of the road passing through the “Қайтмас” neighborhood of Denov district. A person born in 2006, driving a Nexia vehicle, due to carelessness and lack of experience, attempted to overtake the vehicle in front and entered the opposite lane.
At that moment, a collision occurred with a Lacetti vehicle moving in the opposite direction, driven by a driver born in 1986. The injured were immediately taken to medical institutions. However, the Lacetti driver died in the hospital due to the injuries received.
The Nexia driver, without a driving license, violated traffic rules, which caused the accident. The regional road safety administration stated that citizens are asked not to drive vehicles without sufficient skills and experience. In addition, all drivers are asked not to exceed the speed limit on roads and strictly follow traffic rules.
This tragedy once again reminds us that caution and competence on the roads are of vital importance. Every driver must realize the responsibility for their own life and the lives of others.
