On September 18, the next stage of the trial in the case of Mubashshir Ahmad was held in the Uchtepa District Criminal Court.
At the court hearing, the state prosecutor demanded that the accused be sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment. At the same time, the defense lawyers stated that this proposal is unfounded, without evidence and legal basis, and emphasized that it is not fair.
In court, all parties expressed their positions. While the prosecutors vehemently spoke about the severity of the criminal case, the lawyers asked the court to review the charges.
At the end of the session, the judge emphasized the need for a full study of the case and taking into account additional criteria. Therefore, the next court hearing is scheduled for Monday, September 22.
