It was reported that the incident was identified in the Ozod neighborhood of Denov district, Surkhandarya region. In July 2025, the neighborhood elder and social workers stated that this situation was against the law and a warning was given to the family.
However, the wedding ceremony was held on August 10. A fine was imposed by the local prevention inspector in accordance with the legislation, and administrative liability measures were taken against the offenders.
Currently, the girl is studying at a vocational school in Denov district. Her rights and education process are under the supervision of the relevant organizations.
