As a result of operational measures carried out jointly by the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Turkey and Uzbekistan, two citizens accused of human trafficking were detained and deported to Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Consulate General in Istanbul.
According to the information, the wanted women were accused of human trafficking: B.M., born in 1962 in Samarkand region, and N.N., born in 1987 in Namangan region.
The Consulate urged citizens affected by the actions of these individuals to contact the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, its regional branches, or the Consulate General in Istanbul.
Recall that earlier in Turkey, another Uzbek woman, known by the nickname Sonya, was detained on charges of human trafficking. He was suspected of forcing women into prostitution as part of the same criminal group. This person was also deported to Uzbekistan.
