During a joint operation conducted by the Davlatabad District Department of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office and customs officers, a person engaged in the illegal sale of tobacco products was detained.
According to the information, a Cobalt car belonging to a previously convicted person named A.R. was stopped and checked while traveling on the "Yangiqo'rg'on-Namangan" route.
During the inspection, it was revealed that 2,500 boxes of "Milano New York" and 1,500 boxes of "Esse Change" cigarettes, produced abroad and without excise stamps, were being imported for illegal sale.
A total of 4,000 packs of tobacco products were seized as material evidence.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 186-1 of the Criminal Code, and an investigation is underway.
