The owner of a shop belonging to "N.S.2020" LLC, located in the Khatyrchi district of the Navoi region, issued a check for 2 billion soums instead of issuing a check for 20 thousand soums for pepper during a regular sale.
As a result of the misunderstanding, the entrepreneur faced a large tax debt. He appealed to the tax office with a request to cancel the check to correct the error, but he was told that "information in the system will not be edited."
After the problem was not resolved, the case was taken to court by the Khatyrchi District Justice Department. The application indicated that the decision of the Navoi Regional Tax Department dated April 17, 2025 - the act of not editing the receipt - contradicts the law.
As a result, the Navoi Inter-District Administrative Court deemed the actions of tax officials illegal and issued a decision in favor of the entrepreneur.
