In the Kitob district, a driver who got behind the wheel while intoxicated caused a traffic accident by crashing into a “Damas” car, reported Kun.uz.
According to the investigation, the “Labo” car driven by U.E. collided with a “Damas” vehicle parked on the roadside. As a result, the victim suffered material damage amounting to 3.4 million soums.
The court found U.E. guilty under Part 1 of Article 131 of the Administrative Responsibility Code and sentenced him to three years of driver’s license suspension and a fine of 16 million 480 thousand soums.
According to the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement, the driver has fully paid the imposed fine.
Experts emphasize that a person who takes the wheel is responsible not only for their own life but also for the lives of others. A momentary indulgence and irresponsible decision can change one’s entire destiny.
