The fire, which broke out in the city of Tashkent at night, was quickly brought under control by the Emergency Situations Service. According to the Tashkent City Department of Emergency Situations, the fire alarm was received at 01:26.
Rescue teams arrived at the scene in just eight minutes at 01:34. Due to their prompt action, the fire was contained at 01:45 and completely extinguished at 01:48.
No citizens were injured or damaged during the incident. The spread of fire to neighboring buildings was also prevented thanks to the promptness of rescuers.
Currently, a special commission is investigating the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the material damage caused. According to preliminary estimates, the fire may have been caused by a malfunction of one of the electrical appliances or a short circuit.
Thus, the fire that illuminated the sky of Tashkent just before dawn yesterday did not turn into a major tragedy thanks to the prompt and coordinated actions of emergency services. Officials once again urged residents to comply with fire safety regulations.
