Compensation for demolished houses in Tashkent amounted to 182 billion soums

In the city of Tashkent, citizens were paid compensation in the amount of almost 182 billion soums for demolished residential, industrial, and other buildings. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.

According to official data, over 130,000 enforcement documents worth 2.8 trillion soums were received by the Tashkent City Department of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement and its regional branches in 2025.

Of these, more than 75 thousand cases have been completed, and more than 538 billion soums have been recovered. In particular, within the framework of 63 cases related to demolished housing, payments totaling 181.8 billion soums were made.

In addition, 247.7 billion soums were recovered in the interests of more than 5,000 citizens. Of this amount, 6.4 billion soums were paid as wage arrears, and the remaining 241.3 billion soums as compensation for damages.

Currently, the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement is working on more than 55 thousand cases in favor of citizens (1.2 trillion soums) and 147 thousand cases (4.8 trillion soums) in favor of legal entities in Tashkent.
