Father who evaded alimony was found in the basement in Kokand

In the city of Kokand, Fergana region, a father who had been evading alimony payments and hiding for some time was unexpectedly found in a basement, Repost.uz reported.

According to the information, the debtor had been hiding in the basement of a house located in the neighborhood. Trying to justify himself, he said, “I went down to the basement to connect the gas.”

After bailiffs found him, the necessary documents were submitted to the court. According to the court’s decision, the father who had been avoiding his alimony obligations was sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest.

At present, enforcement authorities are taking measures to recover the full amount of the debt from the debtor.
