A man who committed violence against his wife in the Tashkent region has been detained, responsible officials reported. According to the information, on October 22, 33-year-old R.Q., living in the “Kuksaroy” neighborhood, came to his wife N.Sh. with a hunting weapon due to a family conflict, threatened her, and caused bodily injuries.
During the inspection, it was determined that the man has been a member of the Hunting Society since 2021, and the weapon officially belongs to him. After the incident, he was charged under Part 2 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code.
Additionally, the suspect’s hunting certificate was cancelled, and the TOZ-34 hunting weapon was confiscated. According to the conclusion of the forensic medical examination, the victim has minor bodily injuries that do not endanger her life but have caused a short-term health disorder.
The situation has been taken under full control by the regional Department of Internal Affairs, and investigative actions are being carried out by the Akhangaran district police department.
