Sale of strong medicines without a doctor's prescription: Criminal case initiated in Jizzakh

Individuals involved in the illegal trade of potent drugs have been detained in the Jizzakh region, the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office reported.

During an operational event conducted by employees of the Jizzakh city branch, the head of the private enterprise "H.A." J.R. and the pharmacy seller I.R. were caught red-handed while selling 136 units of the drug "Omnadren 250," which contains potent substances, to citizen M.Kh. for 7.3 million soums without a doctor's prescription.

Also, during another operational event conducted by the Zafarabad district department of the Department and employees of the Internal Affairs Department, citizen Z.U. was detained while selling 602 units of various medicines containing potent substances for 2.3 million soums.

Criminal cases have been initiated under Article 251-1 of the Criminal Code. An investigation is currently underway.
