Yesterday, November 21, an unexpected and somewhat unbelievable incident occurred in the Jizzakh region. Between the hours, a call was received to the service number 112 about a Matiz car falling into the "South Mirzachul" canal, which passes through the territory of the Pakhtakor district.
Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who immediately arrived at the scene, took control of the situation and successfully pulled the vehicle out of the water using special equipment, cables, and rescue equipment.
As the causes of the incident were investigated, it was established that no one was in the car at the time of the incident. It turned out that the vehicle moved on its own during the remote ignition process and went out of control and fell into the canal. Fortunately, due to the absence of a passenger or driver in the cabin, no one was injured, and only the car itself suffered material damage.
Rescuers resolved the incident through quick and thorough actions. This incident also caused some discussion among the local population - once again proving how important caution is, especially when starting a car remotely.
According to information released by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, an additional investigation is underway.
