The incident between a road-patrol service inspector and a driver in the Bukhara region has become widely discussed. According to available information, Junior Sergeant Saifiev, who was on duty in the Romitan district, repeatedly turned the vehicle’s lights on and off, demanding that the driver of the Equinox give way.
However, the incident did not end there. The inspector stepped to the front of the driver’s vehicle, unjustifiably accused him of “causing an accident,” and, without any camera, forced him to pull over to the roadside. These actions raised legitimate questions for the driver and sparked serious discussions online.
It is reported that the regional Road Safety Department leadership is aware of the situation. According to official information, a service investigation has been launched against Junior Sergeant Saifiev. Following the investigation, a full legal assessment of the inspector’s actions will be provided.
Among readers, questions such as “why did the inspector act without a body camera?” and “where did the accusation come from?” have increased. An official conclusion regarding the situation is expected to be announced in the coming days.
