During an operational event conducted jointly by employees of the State Security Service Department of Syrdarya region and the Customs Committee, a large amount of illegal drugs was prevented from entering circulation. It is noted that the drugs were smuggled from Kyrgyzstan.
According to the investigation, during the inspection of the Changan CL03 car, which was involved in a car accident in the city of Andijan, it was found that 5,071 units of a potent drug called "Regapen" were hidden in the interior. The discovered medicines were formalized in procedural order with the participation of witnesses.
A criminal case has been initiated under Part 5 of Article 251 of the Criminal Code. Currently, two citizens of Uzbekistan are involved in the case as suspects, and the investigation is ongoing.
According to the data, due to the potent effects of these drugs, their uncontrolled release could pose a serious threat to public health.
