A bloody incident that occurred at night in Andijan region has shocked the public. In Markhamat district, a 26-year-old man attacked two citizens with a knife, as a result of which one person lost his life.
According to reports, the incident took place on December 16 at around 01:30 in the territory of the “Qovunchi” neighborhood. While under the influence of alcohol, a man identified as H.Q. got into a conflict with two strangers, 30-year-old S.M. and B.M.
As the conflict escalated, the suspect stabbed S.M. in the chest with a household knife that was inside his Damas vehicle. As a result of the severe bodily injuries sustained, the victim died.
After that, H.Q. continued his criminal actions and attacked the second citizen, B.M., with a knife. He managed to strike twice in the abdominal area, but due to the intervention of bystanders, he was unable to complete the crime for reasons beyond his control.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated against H.Q. on charges of intentional murder and attempted murder, and he has been detained in accordance with the law. Investigative actions are ongoing.
In short, a moment of anger and intoxication — one lost life, and for another, lifelong remorse.
