As a result of prompt measures taken within the framework of international cooperation, a person who committed a serious crime and was hiding in Poland was returned to Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the information, thanks to cooperation between the National Central Bureau of Interpol in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland, the wanted person was identified and detained. Coordinated operational work carried out by responsible agencies made it possible to establish the location of the criminal and detain him within the framework of the law.
It is noted that this person was deported to the Republic of Uzbekistan on the basis of international treaties and established legal procedures. Now he will be held accountable for the crime committed in accordance with national legislation.
Officials emphasized that such results are the result of effective cooperation between Uzbekistan's law enforcement agencies and foreign countries, information exchange, and consistent work aimed at ensuring the rule of law.
