Illegal hunting in Tudakul: damage to nature amounted to 680 million soums

Cases of illegal fishing have been identified in the Navoi region, causing enormous damage to wildlife.

The State Environmental Control Inspectorate, in cooperation with employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, conducted another control raid in the Navoi region.

During the raid, it was revealed that three citizens illegally caught fish using prohibited hunting weapons - fishing nets - in the Tudakul natural reservoir located in the Kyzyltepa district. In this case, 39 fish of two species were illegally caught. As a result, damage to the animal world amounted to 120 million 304 thousand soums.

Also, another special case was noted in this reservoir. It turned out that 417 fish of five species were caught illegally, and as a result of this violation, 561 million 968 thousand soums of damage was caused to nature.

In total, the amount of damage caused to wildlife as a result of illegal hunting exceeded 680 million soums.

In connection with the incidents, 300-meter-long fishing nets belonging to the violators, as well as 456 fish of various species with a total weight of 416 kilograms, were confiscated as evidence.
