Will Uzbek schools really switch to paper diaries?

In recent days, reports have spread on social networks that traditional (paper) diaries and class registers are being reintroduced in Uzbek schools. The Ministry of Preschool and School Education reacted to this situation and denied the reports.
According to the Ministry, in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 3931 of September 5, 2018, and Presidential Decree No. 5712 of April 29, 2019, grades and attendance of students in all general education schools of the country are maintained through the "eMaktab" electronic log system.
This system serves to ease the workload of teachers, introduce modern information technologies into the educational process, and ensure transparency in assessment. In addition, parents have the opportunity to remotely monitor their children's academic performance.
According to the official statement, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education has not given any instructions to reintroduce paper diaries and magazines to schools.
