A drug laboratory was established in a rented house in Tashkent. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported this.
It was reported that officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Security Service conducted an urgent operation in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent. It was revealed that an 18-year-old girl and a student born in 2003 had established a drug laboratory in a rented house.
Since September 2025, they have been engaged in organizing precursors and preparing synthetic drugs in a drug store in Telegram, on the instructions of curators. 1 kg of mephedrone synthetic drugs and tools and equipment necessary for use in a drug laboratory were seized from this address and documented as evidence.
During the rapid action, a route was established based on the geolocation received on the mobile phone of the detained chemistry student, and 1 kg of synthetic drugs buried in a field in the Yangihayot district were found.
During the ongoing rapid search operations in the city of Tashkent, 9 people were detained for distributing these drugs to geolocations using the “zack” method. 3 of them are students. Also, 6 more people who worked in the same position as a stowaway were detained. It was reported that among them were citizens who had been involved in this business as a family.
During the emergency measures, the distribution of 2 kg of synthetic drugs, equivalent to 10 thousand doses, was prevented.
A criminal case was initiated under Article 273, Part 3, Clause "b" of the Criminal Code (illegal preparation, acquisition, storage and other actions by an organized group for the purpose of trafficking narcotic drugs, their analogues or psychotropic substances, as well as their illegal trafficking).
