Another case of corruption has been uncovered in the Kibray district of the Tashkent region. It was reported that the assistant of the district khokim on the development of entrepreneurship, ensuring employment and poverty reduction in the mahalla citizens' assembly was detained while receiving a large sum of money.
According to the investigation, he promised to "formalize" 4 sotkas of land located next to the MFY building, which was in the state reserve. It is said that he planned to transfer this land to the buyer's name by entering false information into archival documents through his acquaintances working in the khokimiyat.
In exchange for this "service," he demanded $50,000. During an operational event conducted by employees of the State Security Service Department for Tashkent region and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, the suspect was caught red-handed while receiving $10,000 of the requested sum.
A criminal case has been initiated against him under Article 168, Part 4, Clause "a," and Article 28, Part 3, Clause "a" of the Criminal Code. An investigation is currently underway.
In short, there is often a big risk behind the statement "I will settle the land." If someone asks you for money saying "I'll get the document quickly" - this is already a signal: choosing the legal path is the most correct and safest option.
