15 new modern bus stops commissioned in Tashkent

Large-scale works have begun in Tashkent to improve public transport infrastructure and create convenience for the population. In particular, within the framework of cooperation with entrepreneurs, 15 modern bus stop complexes have been installed in 5 districts of the capital. The project covered Bektemir, Yangikhayot, Sergeli, Almazar, and Shaykhontohur districts.
The new stops are distinguished not only by their appearance but also by their technical equipment. Each complex is built on a unified design and is equipped with video surveillance cameras and emergency call buttons to ensure passenger safety. Also, the stops have electronic displays that provide accurate information about bus arrival times.
According to the requirements set by the city administration, the construction of additional commercial buildings around the stops is strictly prohibited. The platforms are adapted for barrier-free movement for people with disabilities. The areas are paved with granite slabs and equipped with trash bins.
This cooperation mechanism allows entrepreneurs to place advertisements on the side and back walls of the stops. This gives business representatives the opportunity to develop their activities while contributing to making the city look modern and comfortable. In the future, it is planned to increase the number of such convenient stops in other areas of the capital.
