Illegal drug sales were stopped during an operation conducted by law enforcement agencies in the Tashkent region. A secret warehouse was discovered in a house in the Tashkent district in cooperation with the Customs Department, the State Security Service (DXX), and other relevant agencies.
During the inspection, it was revealed that there were 7,961 boxes in the house, as well as 6,167 boxes of foreign-made biologically active supplements and drugs inside a related vehicle. The quality of these products was not guaranteed, and their total value exceeded 2 billion soums according to preliminary estimates.
A total of 13,675 boxes of drugs were seized as evidence. Pre-investigation activities are currently underway regarding this case. Experts are urging citizens not to purchase drugs of unknown quality and origin and to be cautious of such products that may pose a health risk.
