The Department of Personal Security under the Prosecutor General's Office conducted an operational event in Surkhandarya region and detained citizen Kh.I. at the scene of the crime. This operation was carried out in cooperation with law enforcement officers.
According to the information received, Kh.I. pretended to work in the State Security Service and other state bodies and demanded 1000 US dollars from the applicant M.K. in exchange for employment in the military. During the operation, he was detained while receiving this amount, which amounted to 12.2 million soums.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against Kh.I. under Article 168, Part 3, Clause "b" and Article 28, Part 1 of Article 211 of the Criminal Code. During the investigation, it was established that Kh.I. did not work in any government agency, including the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office.
