A brutal incident committed by a bank employee in the city of Kokand has been investigated. According to the information service of the Prosecutor General's Office, A.T., a specialist in the credit department of one of the city's banks, was detained as a suspect. He confessed to killing the client and throwing the body into the Great Fergana Canal.
According to the investigation, the victim S.E. came to the bank branch on March 31 to get a loan for a car. An argument broke out between him and the credit department employee. Then they drove to the territory of the Taraqqiyot MFI in the Uzbek district in a Tracker car. Here A.T. admitted to intentionally killing S.E. by stabbing him in the neck with a kitchen knife several times.
The body was left at work, and A.T. Continuing his work, at 19:00 he took his car and drove to the territory of the Tolash mahalla of the Uzbek district of the Great Fergana Canal and threw the body into the water.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated under Part 1 of Article 97 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (intentional murder). The victim's body has not yet been found, and search operations are ongoing.
Employees of the Fergana Regional Department of the Emergency Situations Department have been involved in the search operations, and representatives of the local population are also participating in the search operations.
