Commercial property seized in Uchtepa for 720 million soums tax debt

The Uchtepa district department of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement is carrying out enforcement actions to recover tax arrears amounting to 720 million soums from 'SIPB' LLC, based on 16 decisions by the Tashkent city tax administration.

Several warnings and demands were sent to the debtor organization in accordance with the procedure established by legislation, and measures to recover funds from bank accounts were also taken. However, despite this, the debt was not voluntarily settled.

Consequently, as part of the compulsory enforcement actions, a non-residential building — a commercial property belonging to the debtor — was identified and seized to compensate for the losses incurred by the state budget. Currently, work is underway to put this property up for public auction via the 'E-auksion' electronic trading platform.

Tax payments are a legal obligation of every entrepreneur and organization. Failure to pay them on time leads to an increase in debt, blocking of bank accounts, imposition of bans on property, and even its compulsory sale.

It should be remembered that ignoring tax debts ultimately results in the loss of property and even greater financial losses.
