The altercation that occurred between a group of young people in Tashkent has sparked widespread discussion on social media. A video of the incident circulated, sparking various opinions and debates among users.

The Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs provided an official response to this situation and disclosed the details of the incident.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Zargarlik Street in the capital's Uchtepa district. Eight citizens engaged in an altercation and committed a gross violation of the rules in a public place. Through their actions, they caused inconvenience to those around them and disrupted public order.

During the operational investigation, the identities of the participants in the quarrel were established, and they were detained in accordance with the law. All documents were processed, and the suspects were handed over to the district internal affairs bodies.

One of the participants of the quarrel commented on his actions and expressed regret for what happened:

"We came with a few friends, and they came too." A misunderstanding occurred during the conversation, and the situation escalated. I didn't expect this to happen. I'm sorry about what we did. I wouldn't advise anyone to fight in the street. We apologize to our state and law enforcement agencies," he said.

According to law enforcement agencies, a criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Article 277 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan — hooliganism. Investigative actions are currently ongoing.

Experts emphasize that such incidents pose a serious threat to public safety and urge citizens to comply with the law and resolve disputes peacefully.
