The Military Prosecutor's Office has reportedly taken over the investigation into the criminal case involving employees of the Taftish.uz website.
Public activist Abdurahmon Tashanov provided information regarding this development.
According to reports, the suspects in the case may face charges of extortion and fraud. They were originally detained in January of this year.
It is noted that over 400 citizen appeals have been reviewed in connection with this case to date.
Furthermore, the investigation was transferred to the Military Prosecutor's Office due to the mention of certain special services personnel in the case materials.
Specific details regarding the investigation are considered classified, and it is reported that the court proceedings may be held behind closed doors.
