Our Taekwondo Athletes Have Their Say at Another Prestigious Competition

Our compatriots were awarded 8 medals in intense competition at the Asian stage of the "World Taekwondo Federation President's Cup" competition held in Taiyang, China.

First day results — 5 medals
On the first day of the competition:

Men: -74 kg, -80 kg, -87 kg, +87 kg weight categories
Women: -46 kg, -49 kg, -53 kg, -57 kg weight categories

According to the results:
- Jasurbek Jaisunov (-80 kg) — gold medal
- Marat Mavlonov (+87 kg) — gold medal
- Shukhrat Salaev (-87 kg) — silver medal
- Yodgorbek Juraboev (-87 kg) — bronze medal
- Madina Mirabzalova (-57 kg) — bronze medal

Second day — 3 more medals
On the second day of the international tournament:
- Winners and prize-winners in 8 weight categories determined.

The Uzbek national team won 2 more gold and 1 bronze medal:
- Jahongir Khudoiberdiev (-54 kg) - gold medal
- Ozoda Sobirjonova (-67 kg) - gold medal
- Svetlana Osipova (+73 kg) - bronze medal

Overall result - pride and glory
Total result:
- 4 gold medals,
- 1 silver medal,
- 3 bronze medals.

Thus, our compatriots once again demonstrated that they are among the strongest teams in Asia in taekwondo.
