
One of the most famous clubs in the English Premier League, Liverpool, won its 20th championship title in the 2025 season. However, according to Planet Football, some players may not be able to win a championship medal.
Requirement for medals: at least 5 games required
According to the EPL regulations:
- To receive a medal, a player must play in at least 5 championship games;
- At the end of the season, Liverpool will receive a total of 40 medals;
- These medals will be divided between players and club staff.
If a player does not meet the requirements, awarding him a medal will depend on the club's internal decision.
List of players who may be left without medals
- Federico Chiesa - 4 games.
- Vyteslav Jarosz - 1 game.
- Jayden Dunnes - 1 game.
- Tyler Morton - may not have enough games.
- James McConnell - not yet had enough game practice.
- Trey Nyoni - little game time.
Also on this dangerous list are some members of the youth team and reserve players.
Club decision: fair or unfair?
The Premier League management distributes the bulk of the medals according to strict regulations. However:
- If the club wishes, it has the right to award medals to players who do not meet the requirements;
- In some cases, young players and players who played an important role in training are also encouraged.
Historical result for Liverpool
This is the 20th championship title in the club's history. Liverpool were only slightly behind Manchester United (20 titles), but now they have equalled.
