Uzbek chess players in the world's top 100: who achieved what results?
The World Chess Federation (FIDE) has announced its ratings for May. Uzbek grandmasters have retained their positions at the top of the updated rankings. Currently, there are 5 Uzbek athletes among the top 100 chess players in the world.

Uzbekistan's number one chess player Nodirbek Abdusattorov has retained his high position in May. The grandmaster's points have slightly decreased to 2771 points, and he is in 6th place in the world ranking.

Another talented grandmaster, Javokhir Sindorov, dropped one place in the May rating update, falling to 31st place. The number of points on his account is 2706.1 points. It is worth noting that Sindorov firmly holds third place in the rating of young chess players.

Experienced grandmaster Rustam Kasimdzhanov dropped two places this month, taking 48th place in the rating, with 2675 points.

Another talented chess player from Uzbekistan, Nodirbek Yakubboev, improved his result in May, moving up one place in the world ranking with 2665 points. Yakubboev is currently ranked 60th.

Shamsiddin Vohidov had a difficult month in April, and he continued to decline in May. He is currently ranked 86th in the world ranking with 2641 points.
