Abinur Nurimbet: “Uzbekistan is a school of technique and speed, Kazakhstan is a new challenge”

Talented footballer Abinur Nurimbet of the club “Turon” has already played in three countries — Belarus, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan — in his short but colorful football career. The 20-year-old attacking midfielder shared his impressions and compared the experiences he gained in each league.

“Belarusian football gave me my first experience at the senior level. Despite my young age, I had the chance to play in the starting lineup. The Belarusian coaches had great trust in me and supported me actively. That’s why I consider this league my gateway into professional football,” said Nurimbet.

Speaking about the Uzbekistan championship, Abinur specifically noted the high technical skill and speed of the local players:

“When I arrived in Uzbekistan, I was amazed by the players’ technical skills and pace. The matches there were dynamic, combinational, and very high-tempo. That stage helped me improve my quick decision-making and movement — which are essential in professional football. It was a very valuable experience for me,” he emphasized.

Currently, Nurimbet believes it’s too early to give a full assessment of the Kazakhstan Premier League. Since joining Turon, he has already played eight matches and has become a consistent part of the starting lineup.

“It’s difficult to judge the Kazakhstan league yet because the season has just started and I haven’t fully adapted to the team. But I’m confident that this league has high potential. I aim to show more of myself in this new environment,” he added.

As a reminder, Abinur Nurimbet also had a stint with “Andijan” in Uzbekistan. In 2024, he played six matches for the “Eagles” and quickly gained attention from local fans.

He now stresses that he is fully committed to earning trust in Kazakhstan and being a useful player for “Turon”.
