Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has issued a clear warning to the club's management. The Spanish specialist stressed that he does not want to have a large squad and is ready to leave the team if necessary.
"I told the club's management clearly: a large squad does not suit me. Leaving five or six players in the stands every round, not involving them in the game, is morally painful for me. I do not want this. If this happens again and the management does not listen to me, I will leave the team," said Guardiola.
In his opinion, a compact and organized squad is very important for the team's internal environment and mental stability. "Every player should feel important. We do not bring them in to keep them in the team, but to play," the coach added.
