
Another exciting chapter in the career of Kevin De Bruyne, who left an important mark on the history of Manchester City, has been closed. Today's match against Bournemouth in the 37th round of the Premier League was the Belgian maestro's last home game at the Etihad. The club's management decided to pay tribute to him with a special statue.

Manchester City have officially announced the installation of a statue of Kevin De Bruyne around the Etihad Stadium. He will become the seventh player to receive this honor. Previously, club legends such as Vincent Kompany, David Silva, Sergio Aguero, Mike Summerbee, Francis Lee and Colin Bell were immortalized with statues.
“It means I’ll always be a part of this club,” De Bruyne told BBC’s Match of the Day:
“It means I’ll always be a part of this club. When I come back here with my family and friends, I can see myself. So I’ll always be with City.”

Kevin De Bruyne joined Manchester City from Wolfsburg in the summer of 2015. Since then, he has made 421 appearances for the club, scoring 108 goals and providing 177 assists.
