How did Sergey Chigodaev explain the defeat of Uzbekistan U-16 national team?
The Uzbekistan U-16 national team continues its tests at the international tournament being held in China. In the second round, unfortunately, our youngsters once again missed the opportunity and lost to their opponent — China U-16 national team with a score of 1:2. However, regardless of the result, the game showed an uplifting spirit and serious fight, and this became an important lesson for the maturity of young footballers, the UFA press service reported.

After the match, at the press conference, our national team's head coach Sergey Chigodaev commented on today's match: “First of all, I congratulate the opponents on the victory. The game was quite interesting and fought in a combative spirit. Both teams managed to create chances. But in this round, the one who uses their opportunities more efficiently wins. We also had many chances, but could not use them properly. We will continue to work on our mistakes — such matches are becoming a big school of experience for our team, and everyone should understand this.”

National team member Ahrorbek Ravshanbekov also commented after the match: “We had enough opportunities, but we could not use them properly. Our opponent also showed a good game. Nevertheless, we had the chance to win. In the next match, we will put all our efforts towards victory.”

This international tournament is becoming not only a school year on the field but also a year of testing in life for our young footballers. The main goal for the national team is to gain new experience and strengthen self-confidence. Our young players still have a long way ahead and many victories — we are sure of that.

In new matches, we wish our national team luck and success. Zamin.uz continues to deliver every important event quickly and objectively to its readers!
